Northern Bay, LLC is an entity that grew out of the dreams and ambitions of a group of men during the cold winter months of 2001. Winter in Wisconsin is a time when most of us who call Wisconsin home begin to long for the warm lazy days of summer, an afternoon on the shores of a lake or on the fairway of an 18-hole golf course.
The idea of developing a championship course on Castle Rock Lake and a spectacular condominium resort was the "brain child" of the Mootz brothers, Frank, Nick and Matt, and their business partners Bill Ranguette, Paul Gilbertson and David Kennedy. Together they forged ahead with this dream and soon discovered the perfect piece of property on the Northern shores of Wisconsin's fourth largest lake. This setting, among the towering white pines and massive oaks, was the perfect location to develop such a project of this nature.
Frank, Nick and Matt Mootz own and operate Wisconsin Golf, LLC, a golf course design and building company that has an array of professionally developed courses throughout the states of Florida and Wisconsin in its portfolio. They bring with them over 35 years of experience in the design/build arena to this project.
